OUR STORY

After more than 20 years as a mother and educator I decided that forming a small publishing company seemed like the next step on a journey that had been unfolding for a very long time. My first book, Love Has Wrinkles, was written as part of an assignment for a course in Education, which I was taking. My goal at the time was to create a children's book that represented diverse characters and reflected themes that were part of children's everyday experiences. I wanted to create books that my son, and in turn my students, could identify with.

From this first picture book birthed, not just additional books, but also a desire to help other authors to navigate the process of self-publishing. The writing and publishing of a book is such an immensely rewarding process. It allows us to leave a legacy to those who will be inspired by the stories which we have to share.
